European Inspirations

Every ancient castle, cobblestone street, and hand painted German vase, goblet or stein tells a story that reaches across generations. My European-inspired paintings reveal the towns, castles and reflect generations of tradition

“Grenzhau Castle”

Hoehr-Grenzhausen is a beautiful, romantic town with a brook flowing through it and traditional wooden alpine houses. Known for its rich history of Westerwald pottery with giant salt glazed stoneware pots and ceramic figurines inviting you into the city.

The La Belle Epoque Carrousel is located next to the le Hotel de Ville, near the Town Hall of Paris. It is a double carrousel with beautiful lighting that shimmers in the evening. A couple is resting and are pulled into its magical spell. A man is painting a girl, people are visiting the flower market before closing, families are coming and going, and two gentlemen are finishing their chess game before turning in. My painting captures the romance of Paris and the beautiful lights of the City square.

“The Golden Pot” represents a welcoming table adorned with inviting fruits, an old German goblet with red wine and a golden hand painted German pot filled with lovely florals.

Reichsburg Cochem Castle stands high above the winding Moselle River, surrounded by vineyards and a rocky hillside. Below is the charming town of Cochem, Germany with its cobblestone streets, timber framed homes. For thousands of years it has welcomed merchants, vintners and travelers.
